Marine carpet and upholstery take the hits that nothing else on the boat does - sunscreen, fish slime, bait residue, mildew, and everything your crew tracks in from the dock. Carpet Clean is a specifically formulated marine fabric and carpet cleaner that lifts stains, eliminates odors, and leaves marine-grade textiles clean without harsh chemicals or leaving residue behind. Engineered for the wet, UV-exposed, and heavily abused fabrics found on marine vessels.

Every stain has a last day.

Key Features:

- Specifically formulated for marine carpet, upholstery, and fabric

- Lifts fish slime, bait residue, sunscreen, food stains, and mildew

- Safe for marine-grade carpet and synthetic upholstery

- Low-foam formula - rinses clean, no sticky residue

- Won't over-wet fabric or damage backing and underlay

- Biodegradable and low-VOC

- Made in the USA

HOW TO USE:

  1. Remove loose debris first. Vacuum or shake out the carpet or fabric before applying.
  2. Pre-wet the stained area lightly with fresh water to prevent over-concentration on dry fibers.
  3. Apply Carpet Clean directly to the stain. Spray or pour generously onto the affected area.
  4. Dwell 2–5 minutes. Let the formula penetrate and break down the stain from within the fibers.
  5. Agitate with a soft-bristle brush. Work in circular motions - firm enough to lift the stain, not so hard you damage the pile.
  6. Extract or blot thoroughly. Use a wet/dry vac to pull out the liquid, or press clean towels firmly into the fabric. Blot - don't rub.
  7. Rinse with fresh water and extract again. Flush the area and keep extracting until no suds remain.
  8. Allow to dry fully. Open hatches and increase airflow - never leave carpet wet in a closed boat.

No PPE required for normal use.

SAFE TO USE ON

  • Marine carpet - cut pile and berber
  • Synthetic fabric upholstery
  • Canvas and Sunbrella fabric
  • Cockpit cushion covers - remove and treat flat when possible
  • Vinyl-backed carpet and fabric underlay

DO NOT USE ON

  • Vinyl upholstery - use All Purpose instead
  • Unprotected leather - test in a hidden area first
  • Teak and raw wood surfaces - may raise the grain
  • Hard surfaces, glass, or painted areas - use All Purpose
  • Engine room or bilge - use Grease Gone

PRO TIPS FROM THE FIELD:

  • Don't skip the extraction step. The #1 mistake is leaving water in the carpet - it breeds mildew within 24 hours in a marine environment. Extract thoroughly, every time.
  • Fish slime and bait stains set fast in heat. Hit them the same day — the longer they sit, the harder they come out.
  • For mildew smell without visible staining, apply and extract twice. The odor source is deeper in the pile than it looks.
  • Sun-dried or set-in stains need longer dwell time. Apply, cover with a damp towel, and let it work 10–15 minutes before agitating.
  • Pair with All Purpose for a full interior detail - Carpet Clean handles soft surfaces and fabric, All Purpose handles hard surfaces, vinyl, and consoles.
