Everything you need to put your boat away clean for the winter, so it comes out in spring without mildew, stains, or chalky gelcoat. This is the same haul-out process our MAD Marine & Auto crew uses on boats across Maryland, packed into one kit.

The Haul-Out Checklist

1. Wash off the salt. Wash with Reel Clean to lift salt and mineral buildup, then rinse with fresh water. Don’t let the boat dry.
2. Degrease the engine room and bilge. Grease Gone Pro straight for heavy grease, 1:3 with water for medium buildup, 1:6 for maintenance. Rinse the engine area thoroughly when done.
3. Hit the stains while it’s still wet. Work in the shade. Spray Zero Spot on the yellow scum line and Cast Off on stained white canvas, white upholstery, and non-skid. Keep them on separate areas, never spray one over the other, and never let either one dry.
4. Clean canvas and enclosures. Canvas Juice in the shade. Agitate with a towel and give it dwell time.
5. Rinse it all off. Fully rinse every chemical off with fresh water.
6. Wash and neutralize. Finish with a full wash of the whole boat, engine area included, using Wash & Wax (2–4 oz per 5-gallon bucket). It removes leftover debris and neutralizes everything the stronger cleaners left behind.
7. Protect before storage. Boost Coat on gelcoat, glass, and stainless. Buff with a Sandman towel.
8. Bring back faded plastics. Prep Potion first, then Plastic Guard to rehydrate and seal.
9. Close it up right. Dry everything completely, crack hatches for airflow, and cover.

Important

• Cast Off is for white or light-colored surfaces only. It will bleach colored fabric, vinyl, and canvas. Spot test first.
• Never mix Cast Off with acidic cleaners (including Reel Clean and Zero Spot), ammonia-based cleaners, or other MAD Soaps products. Keep them on separate areas and rinse thoroughly before the Wash & Wax step.
