Open it up. Clean it right. Protect it for the season.
Everything you need to get your boat out of winter storage and ready for the water. Whatever grew under the cover all winter, mildew, grime, chalky plastics, gets taken off before it sets in for the season. This is the same spring commissioning process our MAD Marine & Auto crew uses on boats across Maryland, packed into one kit.
What's Included (16 oz each):
- Reel Clean Coastal Marine Wash (low pH, lifts salt and minerals)
- Cast Off Mold & Mildew Stain Remover
- Canvas Juice Bleach-Free Canvas Cleaner
- Strip Tide Surface Prep Wash
- Wash & Wax The Everyday Wash
- Boost Coat Carnauba Spray Sealant
- Prep Potion Surface Prep
- Plastic Guard Plastic Restorer
- Sandman Drying Towels (pack of 3)
The Spring Commissioning Checklist
- Wash off the winter. Wash with Reel Clean to lift salt, dirt and minerals, then rinse with fresh water. Don’t let the boat dry.
- Kill the mildew. Work in the shade. Cast Off on stained white canvas, white upholstery, and non-skid. Rinse thoroughly and never let it dry.
- Clean canvas and enclosures. Canvas Juice in the shade. Agitate with a towel and give it dwell time.
- Prep the surface. Strip Tide to remove old wax and residue before you protect.
- Rinse it all off. Fully rinse every chemical off with fresh water.
- Wash and neutralize. Finish with a full wash using Wash & Wax (2–4 oz per gallon) to remove leftover debris and neutralize everything.
- Protect for the season. Boost Coat on gelcoat, glass, and stainless. Buff with a Sandman towel.
- Bring back faded plastics. Prep Potion first, then Plastic Guard to rehydrate and seal.
Important
- Cast Off is for white or light-colored surfaces only. It will bleach colored fabric, vinyl, and canvas. Spot test first.
- Never mix Cast Off with acidic cleaners (including Reel Clean and Zero Spot), ammonia-based cleaners, or other MAD Soaps products. Keep them on separate areas and rinse thoroughly before the Wash & Wax step.
- See each product page and SDS for full safety information.
