Wash & Wax - The Everyday Wash
Our Wash & Wax boat soap is a pH-neutral marine wash that uses nano-surfactant technology to deliver a thin carnauba wax microlayer with every wash. Clean and refresh in one pass, no separate wax step required. Naturally lemon-scented and safe for aquatic life.
pH-neutral chemistry means it cleans without stripping the wax, sealant, or ceramic coating you already laid down — the way any true marine wash should. For heavy grime, salt buildup, or pre-coating decon, reach for Reel Clean (low pH, mineral-targeted) or Strip-Tide (heavy decontamination). Pair Wash & Wax with Boost Coat after drying to deepen the shine and lock in protection.
Wash. Bead. Repeat.
Key Features:
- Enhances and rejuvenates existing wax, sealants, and ceramic coatings
- pH neutral - safe for all coated and uncoated marine surfaces
- Adds shine, hydrophobicity, and UV protection with every wash
- Safe for gelcoat and bottom paints
- Ultra-concentrated
- Made in the USA
How to Use - Foam Cannon
- Pre-rinse the surface with clean water, top to bottom. Knock off loose grit before any product touches the panel.
- Load the foam cannon Wash & Wax is specifically designed to be high foaming, and works best in a foam cannon.
- Apply foam bottom to top. Wash & Wax builds thick - build layers by applying left to right, bottom to top.
- Dwell 2–3 minutes. Foam should stay wet on the surface the entire time. Do not let it dry.
- Agitate stubborn spots with a soft wash mitt, microfiber cloth, or paint safe scrub brush.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water, top to bottom. Flush all suds.
- Dry immediately with a clean microfiber or Sandman's drying towel. Pro tip: spritz Boost Coat on each wet panel before drying to layer extra protection.
How to Use - Bucket Method
- Pre-rinse the surface top to bottom.
- Mix 4-6 oz Wash & Wax per gallon of clean water in your wash bucket.
- Two-bucket setup recommended. One wash bucket with Wash & Wax, one rinse bucket with clean water.
- Wash in panels top to bottom with a soft mitt, brush or Sandman towel. Light pressure - let the chemistry lift the dirt - don't grind it across the surface.
- Rinse the mitt in the clean bucket between panels.
- Rinse the boat or vehicle fully with clean water as you work. Don't let soap dry.
- Final flood rinse end to end.
- Dry immediately with Sandman's drying Towel.
Ready-to-use foam cannon formula. Dilute 4-6 oz per gallon for bucket use.

When in doubt - test in an inconspicuous area first.
Pro Tips from the Field
- This is your weekly wash. Use Wash & Wax as the maintenance product between Reel Clean (post-saltwater) or Strip-Tide (annual reset) cycles.
- Two-bucket method, always. Grit guard in both buckets. Even a pH-neutral wash can cause swirls if you drag grit across the panel.
- Bottoms Up! Wash & Wax foam is a HI-foaming soap - spray bottom to top, left to right to build foam layers on top of each other.
- Less is more on dilution. 2-4 oz per gallon is plenty. More product doesn't mean better cleaning - it means harder rinsing.
- Pair with Boost Coat as a drying aid. Spray Boost Coat on each wet panel after rinsing and dry with microfiber. The combination layers fresh carnauba on top of the nano-polymer deposit giving you maximum gloss and beading.
- Work in shade. Even a pH-neutral wash should never dry on the surface.
- Rinse your foam cannon between products. Residual alkaline soap or low-pH cleaner in the cannon will affect Nano Wash performance.
- Glass benefit: Wash & Wax leaves a thin hydrophobic film on glass that rivals dedicated water-repellent treatments. Use on windshields and side windows for a cleaner view in the rain.
- For boats: Wash & Wax is your between-trip wash if you didn't see saltwater. For salt exposure, use Reel Clean.
- For vehicles: Use Wash & Wax on the weekly wash. It's the maintenance product that extends Boost Pro or any pro ceramic coating.
